        The White House is promising that for the average American, they won't even notice that the government has partially shut down. Trump has assured Americans that he won't be "weaponizing" the government shut down as Obama did. In 2013, when Republicans were responsible for shutting the government down, President Obama wanted the shut-down to be showy. He wanted to make sure that the shut-down was tangible, and felt by as many as possible so that Americans would "feel" what he argued was Republicans' fault. Remember how the Obama administration put barricades in front of the WWII memorial, on the National Mall, to keep out military veterans and to try to put the blame on Republicans. It was an insult. By the way, Republicans voted against the government budget bill because of their opposition to the unconstitutional Affordable Care Act. To be clear, the bill, as written and passed by the Democrat-led Congress WAS unconstitutional. The Supreme Court confirmed in 2012. It was only when the high court re-worked the bill (from the bench, in a stunning exercise of judicial activism) and re-characterized the mandate from a "penalty" as the Democrat-led Congress wrote it, to a "tax" - something that Democrats and President Obama PROMISED the American people that it was not. Obama made sure that he "weaponized" the government shut-down by making sure that it hurt as many people and impacted as many people as possible. He wanted to make it as visible as possible and he wanted Republicans to be punished for their opposition to his healthcare bill.

    President Trump, unlike Obama, intends to make sure that the shut down is felt as minimally as possible and affects as few as possible.

    We see how liberals play with the government as if it were their own creature in order to advance their anti-American and unconstitutional agenda.
